Work close to home

Postby Snippa on Sat Jan 30, 2010 9:46 pm

If you are looking for a job, have you considered looking for something that is close to your home? It would save you time each day and money. You'll save time because it will take you less time to get there and back. You'll save money because you can walk to work instead of drive and you'll be close to home for lunch.

Depending on where you live, this might be an option, but it's something to consider.

That would be great but in the real world it does not work like that...esp. in this climate, one has to travel as far as a job is even if it costs an extra bob or two to get there. Only a few professions can escape this fact. I have a friend traveling 4hours a day in total as he could get nothing closer to home
